Canada Goose is one of the most well known Canadian brands around the world. Their outdoor gear is the go to during freezing temperatures. Two of their most popular Parkas, the Expedition Parka and Mystique Parka, were created to withstand the extreme cold.
The Expedition Parka takes its name after its original purpose. The parka was created for scientist going on Antarctica expeditions at the McMurdo station. Over the years, the expedition parka has been extremely popular not only for the Antarctica expeditions, but also amongst Mount Everest climbers, as well as film & TV directors, actors, and crews. Canada Goose has become so popular on film sets it is now known as "the (un)official jacket of film crews everywhere it's cold." It even started making appearances on screen, its first apparence was on the film The Day After Tomorrow. You might have seen actors like Ethan Hawke, Julianne Moore, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Claire Diane, and others wearing the brand on and off screen.
