In addition to Clapham’s Canadian Beeswax, which increases the leather’s water resistance, the leather dressing contains the natural by-products Lanolin and Neatfoots oil, which are usually produced to heal the animal’s skin. So, naturally, Clapham’s Leather dressing brings dry, dull, brittle and/or lifeless leather back to life! Even if the leather is dry, it will absorb a surprising amount of Leather Dressing.
